Scotland is know all over the world for being one of the most beautiful and accessible countries to visit; it produces the finest whiskey, the best woollens and kilts, and the most beautiful women in the worlds, along with more good actors per square mile than anyplace on the planet.

Proud history and a proud race. Visited scotland for the first time in april.I rented a cottage a mile from the nearest road ,overlooking tinto hill ,on the carmichael estate.Lanark was 5 miles away and biggar 8.I loved every thing about it.the people were amongst the friendliest i have ever met ,and the scenery was breathtaking. In fact i loved it that much ,that one day i will move there!! What more could you want than a single malt, haggis , stovies and scotland?? I am English by the way!

How long have you got? I've toured Scotland five times and have enjoyed it very much. Edinburgh, Inverses, Glen Coe,
Ben Nevis, Skye, Fort William, John of Groats and many more great places. I love Scotland.

I am scottish and at the moment i have about 200 baby seals lying on the beach just a few hundred yards from my house....what can i say? A bit sunnier weather wouldn't go a miss tho. The best way to find out is to visit...but do your research first...it is a very varied country depending where u visit. I am always glad to come home.

We have lived in Scotland for 4 years, the North West coast is breathtaking, we love Sutherland , the remoteness, the clean air, the sheep, everything about it. Glencoe is spectacular, Loch Ness is amazing - gosh I should work for visit scotland !
We love the way the scenery changes with the seasons and the light.

Scotland is just like any other place apart from the weather being a few degrees colder. The further north you go though, the more desolate it gets but the scenery is fantastic. Did you know that Haggis have 2 left legs longer than the right so as to run level round a sloping mountain
. Like I said...Lang May Yir Lum Reek.
