I am from the Philippines so 1st in the list is the country where I was born and raised. I have sooo much freedom there compared to where I am now. What I mean is the freedom from technology. The healthy food, fresh from the garden or farm; warm climate, my childhood friends, the noise of jeepneys and tri-cycles (public transportation), the friendliness and hospitality of the people, the smiling faces & parties amidst poverty, dogs roaming freely, people everywhere - imagine fiesta everyday!
2nd, USA - i am here now. what I LOVE about this country is my husband :-), the different kinds of food from all over the world (yes, i have tasted Bulgaraian food just by being here and I have a Bulgarian friend at work in Redmond, Washington.), the technology and advancement in healthcare, communications and space science, the freedom of opportunities but for the right people... I can't say good much about the government or freedom of speech here.
I have not been to Barbados but it's my 3rd choice. The warm waters, clear blue sky, white sand, warm climate - aahhh - life should be like this.
My 4th choice is Cyprus. Havent been there yet too but I heard about the laid-back life and warm beaches. I love small islands that offer modern amenities w/o drying up your pockets.
Well, thanks! |
