Unfortunately nothing, u get a ticket, but when you go home, there's no where to send it to ( unless your in a hired car, then they can decide to pursue it if they want)

Personaly I would give em a bride to go back with not a ticket, Why change a habbit.

Most speed fines are generated by automated speed cameras in the UK. If you're driving a rental car, I'm not sure how the police would apply the usual 3 points to your license as normally occurs. UK driving licenses have 12 points in total, and each time you speed you lose 3 points (or more). Once your 12 points are gone you lose your license. As US driving licenses don't have the same system, I'm not sure you'd be subject to the same rules. However, you could receive the 60 UK pounds fine through your credit card if you're driving a rental car.

diddly squat. Nowt. Nadda. Nothing. But i am not inciting you to speed, ok!

They get booked. The same way English get booked in the US.

Assuming you have a valid license, the same thing that happens to citizens, which is basically the same thing that happens here in the US: A summons, and/or a fine. I am not sure how it works as far as points on your license, but keep in mind, the world has gotten a lot smaller. I wouldn't lose any sleep about it.

Sentenced to indentured service as a seaman in the British Royal Navy on a Man Of War.

I dunno. I would imagine just like a Brit here in the US...you get a fine. Unless you ran someone over. In any case, you're subject to their laws. Just be lucky you didn't get stopped by the Baghdad cops.

Well I drive in Australia on a UK licence and if I get caught speeding (which I havent!) I would get a fine, but they cant put points on my licence as they cant can they? its a UK licence. So I expect it is the same in the UK.
If you were just on holiday there is little chance of anything happening as it is hardly a capital offense and it is unlikely that they would send interpol out for you. Unless of course you were involved in an accident or killed someone, then it might be different.
