I HAVE NEVER BEN TO LONDON. I WOULD LIKE TO NO .

London is one of the greatest cities on earth. Don't leave it until you are old to visit; there is far too much to enjoy.

The Bricklayer
expensive and full of foreigners

..True Gemini...
very busy, very "city", not posh or delicate like rome or milan, it has the eccentricy of new york, combined with the grace of paris! i should know, i live just outside london :D the pigeons and the amount of litter and dropped food can get annoying though.

jrw-
I live 20 minutes away but I still LOVE going there. It's so busy and there is so much going on! I love it.

London is one of the largest cities in the European Union, it has a population of over 7 million people, it is a world hub for arts, film, literature, fashion, music, events, museums, education, architecture, sport etc. I reckon that no single 'visit' to London will be the same, Its what you make of it, it is an amazing place, of course it can be a grim place too, that depends on how you look at it. Your question is impossible to answer, I suppose the answer you are looking for is..

London is nice to visit.

I've been. The sightseeing is great, if you go, you should go to:
The Science Museum
The Natural History Museum
The War Museum (I think it's called)
The London Eye
Outside 10 Downing Street- My cousin went with school and he met Cherie Blair (I think that's how you spell it)
A tour boat on the Thames
Tower of London

That's about it! I think London is great fun!

Pros: lot to do, easy to get round, you can get virtually anything, cheap to get around
Cons: VERY expensive, high crime rate, takes a long time to get to places (so it seems), very crowded.

Great for shopping! even if it is just window shopping in harrods or hamleys! You can go bowling at the trocadero or play in the arcade there, or you can go see wax works at madame tussauds or go to london dungeons. This is all in the centre! There is just so much to do :D
