It's crowded, sometimes dirty, noisy, exciting, cultural, beautiful, cosmopolitan, and nowhere else like it in the world.

I think that people from up north are much more friendly than those down south like London. =)

Apparently spending a day on the streets of London is like smoking 20 cigarettes..........polluted. Come up north where the air is good and the people are normal.

I love it, I was born in the UK, lived here all my life. I would love to go to other countries for holidays but I wouldn't wanna move away from here permanently, I like it here. Home is where the heart is!

It depends on where you live in london.

I recently visited florida and I live near london so ill tell you a few things that are diffrent:

- You can go a hell of a lot faster on roads
- We are alot more russed over here as we dont like being late
- Police are alot more friendly

About the polloution comment above i never heard so much rubbish its fine the Thames is the cleanest river in europe or summin

But yh if u wanna know anymore email me

I thought London was great for a visit. Then I visited New York City. London is great, got loads of history, is easy to navigate, got a great nightlife and lots of stuff to do for free (just look at the parks in Central London - all free and relatively safe in daylight). However, the buzz of NYC is something else. I suppose if you like NYC (or think you would) you will like London as well. If you don't like the idea of living in NYC you may very well not like London.

Full of foreigners. You cant get a seat on the train or the tube (subway) or walk briskly on the train or on the sidewalk because it is so overcrowded. The air is so dirty that when you take your shirt off at night the collar is black inside. The streets are covered in litter, human spit and dog poo. Shop assistants are rude to you or ignore you. You feel lonely all the time because you never see the same person twice and nobody talks to each other. Public telephones are usually vandalised so dont work, and the phone boxes (kiosks) are covered in prostitutes' business cards, vomit and urine because some drunk used the box as a toilet last night.
