have been to alot of them but want to know which is the best and biggest camp. we want some decent entertainment in the evenings and a good swimming pool. plus we need to take our 2 dogs. Additional Details if not Haven's then what other sites would you recommend, also what probs have people had with Havens?
I went to the Weymouth one last september and that was pretty good. The entertainment venue was pretty small and has a few amusements along with the expected cheesy shows at night but they're pretty funny especially when you have a few from the bar. They have quite a big swimming pool by the pub/food area and a shop in the camp but its quite out of the way. There is a regular bus service to Weymouth town centre but that takes about 25 mins but other than that its absolutely lovely scenery and the prices aren't too bad either.

Weymouth has two, Littlesea I prefer but both are pretty good And they allow dogs.

I have only been to one Haven camp and that was on the Isle of Wight in 1998 - We went for one weekand it was one the best breaks ever considering I am well travelled person & been to some exotic countries. There was also a lot of fit men working there at the time...oh the good old days of being single!!

Perran Sands in Cornwall is very good. Don't know much about the nightlife as we're not fans of Haven's evening entertainment. Great scenery, great drive to the area and close to Land's End. Enjoy!
funky munky is back
I've taken the family to Haven for a few years now. My gripe is they're too damn expensive, they have to charge for everything. 2 years ago we were really strapped for cash and we could only afford a budget caravan. This was the last straw, the caravan was Very Basic, and the kitchen equipment was non existant. It put me off going, and I haven't been since.
