I agree with David536, As you can see from my name I live in Cornwall, and it is absolute paradise, it's safe friendly, extremely beautiful, virtually crime free, and I can leave my doors open when I go out, without the fear of being burgled. However, I am worried that everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon, and move here, It's bad enough being invaded by visitors every summer. Fortunately, the house prices in my village, are extremely high, and many people cannot afford the properties.

Faversham Kent, a quiet country town in the old fashioned sense of the word 45 minutes from London by train. Situated half mile from the main A2 to all the north Kent coast resorts and two miles from the M2 Motorway which can get you to Ashford for the train to Paris.

The lake district. It's the best

I live in Ilford in East London, and it is great. Cheap housing, area being developed for the Olympics in 2012, and cheap, easy public transport access to the rest of London, such as the City, where I work, and the West End, where I play.

The Lost Elf
