Tower of London, London Bridge, St Pauls Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Soho, China Town, Kew Gardens, Greenwich, Science Museum, The Serpentine, Leicester Square, Oxford Street (shopping!), Hampton Court, Windsor Castle, Docklands, The London Dungeons, Thames river boat and party cruise, Brixton for the fun vibe and culture, do the underground Circle line pub crawl - start in the morning, get off at EVERY station and have a drink at the nearest pub, being a circle, you will end up back in the same station you started at - very drunk but happy!. Visit all the parks, Greenwich (Cutty Sark), Hampstead Heath, Green Park etcetc, The London Eye(big wheel), Houses of Parliament, Richmond Park - lots of deers and wildlife, Hyde Park, Camden market and Locks, City of Westminster. Hundreds of places to name a few. If you have the time, check out other places in the UK, London is just a tiny part. Beaches in Cornwall, Mountains in North Wales, Cheddar Gorge and the caves, the Lake District, Edinburgh and the whole of beautiful Scotland.

Big Ben, The London bridge, and the changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace impressed me the most, and I must add that just about any of the Pubs are fun places to be:)

I enjoyed The British Museum and near there is the home of writer Charles Dickens now a museum. Go the Buckingham Palace when they are changing the guard and rollerblade in Hyde Park. You must go to Westminister Abbey for sure!

Walk along the Thames, it's great.

Take a train to Dover - it's about an hour ride each way to the cliffs of dover and there's a huge castle in the town - I got lost in the castle, seriously . . .

Go dancing near Picadilly and visit the nice section of London called MayFair. Inside Mayfair is Shepherd's Square where there are some fine restaurants, in particular ask for the one serving Turkish food - it's great.

There's some pub downtown London that's been around about 400 years I think! Don't recall the name but it's crazy!

You should find more than enough to do and then some and then come back wanting more. Hey, read the book - "London, a biography" by Peter Ackroyd before you go - that will give you plenty of places to visit and it's the best book on London EVER.

Get a copy of a detailed guide book to London (Rough Guide is particularly good) and go to the places which take your fancy. You won't be disappointed.

the musems are great and free so are the parks like regents park also camden market is great to look around and do some shopping.hampton court is very nice for a day trip.

If you are interested in modern art, the Tate Modern museum is quite impressive. From St. Pauls it's ten minutes to walk, you just have to cross the river.

You have to go to Brick Lane- it's hilarious! My favourite place in London. It's most known for the curry houses, which are indeed there, and lots look quite posh, have never been in, but if you turn left and keep walking there is an amazing market, a wonderful organic cafe with barbecue outside and carry on walking a bit further and it descends into complete randomness. People with blankets set out on the pavement with odd shoes, and strange clothes to sell, and enormous garage full of strange retro gear that stinks of damp, fabulous 2nd hand stuff to rumage through. The best stall I ever saw was a little table set up with a tray, a glass with a flower in it, a box of shortbread biscuits and a notice saying, 'free 1/2 shortbread biscuit', she offered us a 1/2 each but we declined, to this day I can't imagine what her motivation could be. Also very cool area generally, Spitalfield market is cool, and Greenich Park is close if its hot enought to sunbathe. Nearest station- not sure, but can totally walk from Liverpool street- just ask directions from a station/ police guy. Have fun!
