use the national express coaches they are far cheaper than the trains specially that time of day

have you looked on the arriva trains website?
if u look there you can see all your options. also, have a look for 2 singles instead of one return, that can sometimes be cheaper. (the website gives you this option to check.)
also, try to book as far in advance as you can, they are always cheaper then.
however, you could look into bus services? i'm not to sure about these but you might be able to get a cheap bus ticket to cardiff and then maybe get a train to swansea then.
but just look around and check ou you options first.

Providing you book in advance, as soon as possible the train will be cheap and much much faster than the coach. Trains to Swansea run from Paddington Station in London and the journey takes 3 hours. You can go to Paddington Station to book your ticket or use the rail company website
