Get an Oyster card. You can use it on the buses and tubes.

A weekly travel card or an Oyster card. You can put money on an Oyster card and it charges you for each trip singularly but it never charges you more than a daily travel card so in the long run you will be better off.
Try the transport for London website for more information.

A weekly travel card I'd have thought

Alan B
oyster card £3 deposit, and a week travel card (£22.50) then you can travel all over zones 1 and 2 as much as you want on tube, bus, DLR, and some trains

Always take the tube in London. The streets are far too overcrowded to travel above ground.
One other good way is to get on your feet and walk, it's not actually that big a place.

Walk - you can walk from Camden to the Thames in about 3/4 of an hour. The central bits of London are really quite close together.

An oyster Card is best, but if you are up for an adventure then by foot is great also just head in one direction and see where you get

deepak_k_rana
Weekly Zone 1 to 5 cost £ 38.70 (aprox)

Which will allow you travel most of the areas in London. Oh yea.. dont forget Oyster Restuarant deals... :)

N moreover Oyster is safe.. If you registered it online.. n by chance you lost the card.. You can get it back from anywhere.. NewsAgents, Ticket Offices.. etcs

Happy Journey.. :)

Stay at hostels... you have to share a room with other adventurous people but they're a great way to save $$$! Of course the best way to travel around the city is the subway aka "tube." And, take a sleeping bag if you're not staying in a home or hotel. London is great! Enjoy!

Use can use Google to locate more information about cost of travel and/or hostels.

Get an Oystercard, which you can order online from the Transport for London website. You use it as a top up card and simply swipe it to get on the tube and buses. It's a lot cheaper than buying individual tickets for each journey.

by the tube train and the buses
