We no longer use money as nobody has got any due to the recession, we have gone back to the barter system that was used until the 14th century, here is an explanation
one sheep is worth 5 chickens
one pig is worth 2 sheep or 10 chickens
one cow is worth one and a half pigs or 3 sheep
hope this helps you |

£ Pound sterling.
£1 = 100 pence.
It used to be £1 = $2, but now our pound isn't doing so well, so right now it's about £1 = $1.5
The UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) doesn't use the Euro (€). Only 13 (of the 27) countries in the European Union currently use it. The Republic of Ireland does use it though. |

Just a little note to add to all the correct answers - the old currency was Pounds, Shillings and Pence and was written as £ s. d. The pound sign is a fancy letter 'L' from the Latin for a pound - Libra, which dates from the Roman occupation of England. |
