Chelmsford is a bland, tedious tip in the middle of Essex. I'm sure it has a purpose but f**k knows what it is. It's the only place I've ever seen an 8 year old smoking in the middle of the main shopping street.

Peterborough has some culture, but from my personal experience seems to be populated by daft fen dwellers who've probably been inbreeding since the days of Oliver Cromwell.

Brixton and a fair swathe of SE London also gets my vote, for being a barren urban wasteland populated by gangsters and goldneck phone stealers. A tactical nuclear strike would count as inner city regeneration.

This isnt from personal experience, but one of my friends was at uni in Bolton and she dropped out after 4 months because she hated the place so much.

She said it was the most depressing chav ridden place she has ever seen in her life, the people were so disgusting and rude, and when she walked to the local shop she had to go past a street full of heroin riddled hookers standing around shouting abuse.

GOOLE - What a depressing sh8thole! It's usually compared to Hull because it's near, but at least Hull has some things going for it! Goole is basically one big Netto and Tesco, a few charity shops and a load of boarded up houses. All you need to do is go past on the train and you'll know what i mean.

DONCASTER - A cultural wasteland. Full of people on the Dole, p8ssheads, crack heads and Devvo wannabes. It was also named robbery capital and one of the most depressing places in England. To top things off it also has the highest amount of sexual diseases. Jeremy Kyle also visited one of the estates here! I say no more!

MANSFIELD - People think Nottingham is crap, but i think Mansfield is 50x worse! Someone please nuke this place!
