I suggest using Google maps for calculating distances between towns/cities.

The main town in Oxfordshire is Oxford. Its 60 miles from London and trains run from Paddington every 30 minutes taking 55 minutes.
www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk (Most other towns in Oxfordshire also have a rail service from Paddington)
Its about 70 miles from Oxford to Birmingham. The route is operated by Cross Country Trains; they run every 30 minutes and take about 70 minutes

It's 71.1 miles from Birmingham to Oxford and 59.9 miles from central London to Oxford, but Oxfordshire is a big county and Oxford isn't bang in the middle of it.

It depends whereabouts in Oxfordshire, London and Birmingham.
Here are some approx distances:
Central London to Oxford around 60 miles.
Central Birmingham to Oxford around 80 miles

BRIAN C
London and Birmingham are cities but Oxfordshire is a whole county with cities and towns and villages in it - you need to quote a specific place in Oxfordshire in order to get an accurate distance.
