What is the dodgiest area of Liverpool as far as crime is concerned?

Which Liverpool neighbourhood, in your mind, is an absolute no-go area after dark?

Scotland Road is a no-go area after dark, as is Croxteth, Norris Green, Anfield and parts of Walton.
I never had trouble in Toxteth when i was there.

anybody who says toxteth is wrong! the worst area in Liverpool is now anfield! i lived there all my life and managed to drag myself away from the place 3 years ago,but my family are still there. toxteth is still a little bit run down in places, but i think the big influx of students and professional people coming to the city in the last 10 to 15 years has helped regenerate the area to a certain degree. toxteth is still stigmatised with what happen in the 80,s with the riots which is a bit unfair!

reading all these answers they make liverpool sound like a war zone i lived here all me life dingle - croxteth and would not move liverpool is like any major city it has its problems but common sense tell you take this place like any were else and act responsabile and with care like you would any other city

I've lived in Toxteth for two years and have never had a problem, don't get me wrong it has its fair share of problems like anywhere, but no longer lives up to its reputation it's kept from the 80's riots. The places i would stay away from are on the outskirts as many places surrounding the centre are now under regeneration and are attracting alot of students and professionals.

pollbee
Norris green and Croxteth park, lived there for 2 years. Not any more tho.

Toxteth used to be bad, years ago.. when i visited.. they had riots there.

I'm from London (and no I didn't start em)

some area's are bad.. it's odd london is like that, some bits of an area , nice.. others like where I live.. dodgy as *cough*
