30mg of alcohol per 100 mg of breath......................... In English, about1 1/2 or 2 pints of normal beer. But just don't drink at all if your driving. |

The legal limit for driving after drinking alcohol is 0%. You should not drive if you have alcohol in your system. However; a limit is placed on what is considered to be legally drunk. |

It varies a lot, depending on whether your caught or not, or kill someone, including yourself.
Safe to say don't do it in the first place. |

35 for a breath test. But it's unreliable. I got stopped and arrested after 2 drinks. The readings at the nick were 37 (just over) and 53! They give you a print out. I didn't realise until the case came to court that even the time on the readout was wrong. It made it look like it was 00:30 early morning, an hour later than it actually was 11:30pm. I just don't drink now. If I do - rarely. I don't drive. They lie in court and they stitch you up good and proper. the cops either lie or have very poor memories. The lawyers perform badly - so it'll go to appeal and they get paid even more money. I had grounds for appeal obviously; but wasn't going to line their pockets further. I just paid up the fine, costs and did a lot of walking for 12 months while banned. |
