What is the national speed limit in England on a dual carriageway.?
Is it 70 same as motorway or sixty same as all other roads, unless singed different.
A duel carriage way is defined by a barrier or curb in between the lanes of traffic travelling in opposite directions, ie Central reservation on a motorway, hedge or raised curb on an A road. On these duel carriage ways the national speed limit is 70 MPH unless marked otherwise. This is a very relevant factor, as if there is no barrier the speed limit is 60 MPH.

The national speed limit for a motorway (dual carriageway) actually depends entirely on what you are driving. When I am in my car it is 70 mph, but when I am towing my caravan it is 60 mph. See this link for further information on the actual speed limits per vehicle, per type of road...
