London Heathrow is11.3 miles away. Get on the M4eastbound, come off at Kew roundbout, slip past Kew Gardens and into Richmond town centre.
There is a slightly shorter way but its a pain in the **** to describe. Lots of back roads and stuff.
Have a great stay.

ps All the Stansteads , Gatwicks and City Airports are talking nonsense, dont fly into these or you will have a mare!

politicsguy
London Heathrow. It's 11.4 miles.

I take it you mean Richmond Surrey? If so, the only London Airport would be Heathrow. It's a fair distance to Richmond, but there are buses and trains, check with google and type in London street maps.

Heathrow, unless you mean the Richmond in Yorkshire, in which case Luton is the nearest "London" airport.

Pat77
it depends what flights you want different airports go to different locations. heathrow is probably the closest london airport.
try googlemaps.com

Heathrow is around 8 miles away

London Heathrow - about 12 miles.

Take a bus from Richmond to Hounslow and then the Piccadilly Line to the Airport

Alba the Scot
If you mean Richmond, Co Durham, then it is 210 miles to Luton

Heathrow is much closer, a few miles to its west. Gatwick (south of London) is still fairly easy to reach Richmond from, just a rail connection and then a direct tube line. Stansted is way out of the picture.

By road:

LHR (Heathrow)

LGW (Gatwick)
