Winchester - lived there for 5 years.

It's a beautiful city, with lots of nice green areas, and great kooky people.

I now live in the part of Britain that has drawn me back time and time again. I'm talking about Cumbria. Even though it was the Lake District that I knew well, I now live away from the tourists on the Solway Plain which is the very north of Cumbria and I'm not that far from the beginning/end of theHadrian's Way Footpath. Cumbria has a population which is about the same as Sheffield so it's quiet and peaceful which is what we wanted. The mountains are magical and just as important accessible so we often put on our walking boots and enjoy being in some of the best countryside in the UK.

Salcome in Devon .. can't beat it!

The Lake District - without doubt. Scenery. But I've not been there for years now (out of the country) so it may have all changed.

Here on the N.Cornwall coast is a good place to live, but again for scenery as otherwise it's full of OAPs all living in smug bungalows.

In my short 29 years I have lived in soooo many places from C/O Durham to Chichester, which is where i currently reside, it is the best place ever. Liberal, nice pace of living, fantastic views of the south downs from any location in Chichester...highly recommended.
