No zip codes in this country! As everyone else has said, we have postcodes.
Kent does not have its own postcode. With over 1.3 million inhabitants, it needs more than one!
The first three (or four) digits of the postcode are based on which postcode district the address is in:
CT1 through to CT21 = Canterbury/Dover area
TN1 through to TN30 = Tunbridge Wells/Ashford area
ME1 through to ME20 = Medway/Maidstone area
DA1 through to DA13 = Dartford/Gravesend area
There are then three digits that follow this, and these three narrow the location down to generally about 40 houses or so.
So, a possible postcode could be CT4 7EB - which would be in the Canterbury area somewhere, if it exists.
Use the link below to find the exact postcode you are looking for. |

The zip cod is a special fish dish served only at the most exclusive restaurants and cooked by superstar chefs. VERY expensive and VERY rarely found in Kent as it only thrives in the salt water lakes of Northern England. I wish you well on your search for this most elusive of fish / dishes. |

Kent is a county not a town... each town is narrowed down for the 1st part of the post code and then each street is specified by the last part.... most streets have at least 2 postcodes in them.
Give a town eg Manchester and it would be M.. ... or Portsmouth would be PO. ... Narrow it down further to districts... Copnor in Portsmouth is PO3, Hilsea PO2... then you go to the outer towns around it... Waterlooville is PO7 and PO8, Havant is PO9 etc.... then the last 3 digits (a number for area then 2 letters for street and which end of the street) will tell you exactly where it is.
For example you could write 56 PO1 1AA (fake address) and they would know it's X street in central portsmouth and door number 56.
That's why it's very important you put the correct postal codes on things.
If you're using a search engine for services you can be a little broader.... you want a hotel in a town or nearby you could just ask for a hotel in TW14 for example (near Heathrow) |

Narrow it down to a town / street and I can be specific. |

No zip code I'm afraid. Each individual street has its own postcode, or postcodes if its a big one. |

They are called postcodes and almost every street has a seperate postcode. If you know the address you could try the UK post office site and go to postcodes. You can do 10 per day free |

You need to be more geographically specific.
You need to specify a street name and a house number to gain an accurate postcode, particularly in an urban setting where postcodes only cover about a dozen houses or so.
Kent is just to large an area and does not have a single postcode. |

We don't have zip codes...we have postal codes and they're different all over Kent I'm afraid.
What town are you sending to? |

Each street has two postcodes - one for the odd numbered side of the road, and one for the even numbered side. |
