I love to go to Liverpool, there is a great city centre of shopping, and then we take a walk down to the docks, and look around the galleries and little cafe's and gift shops.take a walk along the mersey and have an icecream. Then walk back up to the shops and have some food before coming home. Our journey is from Sheffield and it takes about 2 hours, well worth the visit.

beckers
Visit the beatles museum or see the mighty liverpool play

there's the age old game where you have to keep your wits about you and try to stop the locals from pilfering your valuables or them asking you if you want to meet there friend Stanley, it's all very amusing, good luck, you'll need it.

There are plenty of things to do in Liverpool City Centre, but it would depend on what you are interested in. There are many museums and galleries. If you go round the Albert Dock the Maritime Museum will keep you busy for a couple of hours. There's the Tate and Walker art galleries. If you want to see more than the city centre you can take a Beatles tour or catch a train to Freshfield, Formby or Southport. There's always the Ferry across the Mersey and lastly, shopping!

visit the docks its good.liverpool is also a fantstic night out on the razz.the shops are really good too.you,ll probably bump into someone famous too

The Beatles Exhibition on the Albert Dock is a must, also the Museum of Liverpool Life,The Tate Gallery all in close proximity. Not far away the Cavern Walks although not 100%original still worth a visit. No visit would be complete without a visit to Liverpools Cathedrals and don't forget a trip across the Mersey to Birkenhead on that renowned ferry.

Play a game called "Avoid the Scallies"

Hang around the City Centre and drink. That's what most of the people I saw there were doing.

Steal car wheels, touch up your perm, practice saying "erm" in a high pitched voice like Stevie G., see how many different stains you can get to stick to your shell suit, go to the dole office, decide whether to tuck your shell suit pants into your socks or not, practice your "I was personally effected by Hillsborough" face, despite the fact you're not entirely sure where Hillsborough is, decide whether you're smoking Lambert and Butler or Benson and Hedges this week, shoplift cans of Carling in the mistaken belief that it's the same word as on the front of a Liverpool FC shirt, run away from the "bizzies", if you're a girl - go and shoplift some of that orange skin colourant and two-tone hair dye for Saturday night, say "ay up our kid" to random strangers, reminisce about when you last won the league - even though it's not actually in your living memory, tell a non-scouser that all the best musicians are from Liverpool - like The Beatles and ... erm... burst into a chorus of "You'll Never Walk Alone", quick, followed by "Ferry Cross the Mersey", take a ferry across the Mersey and, if you want my advice, keep going when you reach the other side until you find civilisation...
