There is loads to do in the Peak district.... you can walk up a hill.... then walk back down the hill.....then theres the blue john mines and caves to explore... then you could got to a nice pub and have a drink or 3 and take in the air and the views.....and then theres the little towns dotted about the place with lovely shops.... Have fun if you do go .

Walking mainly. Think of it as a shorter, less wet version of the Lakes.

well, living in derbyshire... there's loads to do... but mark my words.... "DON'T PRETEND TO BE POSH!" - there's to many upper middle class folks up there... I had a sunday roast up in the peaks once... Check this out.. NO YORKSHIRE'S , NO ROASTIES.. WHAT KIND OF A ROAST DINNER IS THAT???? - it was all Neu Cuisine....

But go and explore, it's wonderfull - but keep keep away from the pretend real ale pubs.... go drink at dead poets Nr Ripley!
