i usually bring magazines and pocketbooks with me. but when i have my nieces & nephews with me, we sing a lot and play trivia, and sometimes i play tourist guide so the kids get extra knowledge about places we pass. when i am with my mom, we pray the rosary and talk about almost anything under the sun. and of course, i also take a nap, eat chips. at times, i have my laptop with me to catch up on work or just play games. talk on the phone or send text messages. foot massages can be fun, too !! |

Enjoy the scenery and the culture of where you are. Plan ahead for food so you can avoid mundane stuff you can get at home. Enjoy the small Ma & Pa places. Read about the places you will be driving. Try to take back roads. Stop at Road Markers that tell about history of the area. I never tire of whatching the world go by as I drive across the country. So much to see, so little time. |

This question can only be correctly answered if you
tell how long, what kind of transport, which class are
you booked. Otherwise you will get replies that refer
to a train, boat or plane and you get a wrong answer! |

I travel all the time. As a result, I've built up a huge goodie bag of things to do to pass the time.
Of course, the best option is always social activities. Bring a friend and hang out, play cards, etc.
Read books, magazines in hard format or ebook format.
Listen to music.
Play videogames on a portable game unit.
Bring a laptop and you'll have thousands of options.
Sleep...but I prefer not to do that because it'll mess up my rhythm.
Meditate...always a good option to calm your mind. |

Depends on your age.
For my kids - we play guess what's in the big trucks.
For me - blast my fav music & flirt with all the male drivers.
For all ages - make a 3 or more letter word from the number plates of the cars around you.
Have fun :-) |
