The far north east of Scotland, Orkney, Shetland, the Outer Hebrides, Saint Kilda, many of the Inner Hebridean Islands and the Isle of Man (OK not technically UK or EEC) but I love the remoteness of the Isles.
It would take a lifetime to visit them all and a much bigger bank balance than I have. |

After living in England for over 10 years there are still plenty of places I would like to visit in Britain, like the Scottish highlands and islands, Lincoln, Canterbury, Shropshire, Oxford and Snowdonia.
We make a point of doing at least one local holiday every year. It does mean paying more on transport, food, drink and accommodation than flopping on a beach in Greece, but there is still a vast amount of cultural wealth and beautiful landscapes we have yet to appreciate on this small but varied island. |

I've actually never been to Northern Ireland. Isn't that weird? I've been all over the Republic but never to the North. |

I'm English. Never been to Northern Ireland or South Wales or the Isle of Wight. I've only visited Scotland (Lossiemouth) once while working as a surveyor.

Northern Ireland
I have lived in the other three countries and travelled widely in each, but the nearest I got to Northern Ireland is the Mull of Kintyre in Argyllshire |

So many places, so little time.
Not been to Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Kent, Cumbria. In my 40+ years a lot has been wasted on such a beautiful country. |

Although the Isle of Man is a Crown Dependency it is not part of the UK...
So I get thumbed down presumably for saying that the IOM is not part of the UK...
the facts speak for themselves...
