What should I do ? I'm in college and want to move to great Britain?

I live in the United States andI have finished this thing in America called IGETC, it is lower division classes, I am studying science so now I have to take upper division classes and transfer to a four year college.
I plan to move away as soon as I have a degree, but I am so impatient that I can't wait. I wonder if I could move sooner ? I don't think I'd be finished with upper division classes for a few more years? But I know that there are study abroad programs, and then there is the possibility of just leaving and finishing my education in the other place that I plan to move to?

I don't know but Britains the besttt (:

You cannot just "move" to the U.K. you would need some type of residence and work visa. Best would be a student visa...probably easiest way to get in and be able to work part time. Use the yelllow map on the right side of the page at the site below to pick the consulate nearest you and get student visa info.

How May I Help You?
First off, I commend your pursue of such an education. The Study Abroad Program sounds right up your alley. If you have the opportunity to travel and get a taste if something different, by all means go for it. I wish you all the luck in the world.

first you apply to the university. if you get accepted, you should apply for a student visa. you're better off moving now, because you won't be able to get a visa once you graduate. people who are able to get work permits usually have experience, and make a lot of money. their point system is geared towards people who make a lot of money. the more money you make, the easier you get in. for student visas, just about anyone can get one, regardless of your abilities. you will still need money regardless of which visa you apply for. you will also meet a lot more people as a student. one of the best things about the uk is being a student. because britain is such a small country you will meet people from all over the world. non-eu citizens will find a very difficult time getting work permits. theres no way you're going to compete against some genius from india who has a phd in computer science, and 10 yrs experience.

london is probably the place to be, it has the most energy and probably has the best vibe in the country. Although, london can also be a cold place to live, in terms of weather, crime, hospitality, most people dont give a **** when you try to talk to them on the street. the main advantage from country to country is probably that the £ vs $, but at the moment it doesnt look that good neway. I was loving it when it was 1£ to 2$, i treated myself to loads of things on ebay :)

Word of advice: don't. I'm just warning you. I live in GB and can't wait to leave this hell hole as soon as possible. Everyone I know who has moved here doesn't like it, and everyone I know who has moved out has liked their new countries better. Just sayin'. I hate this place. Why anyone would choose to move here is a mystery to me.
