I don't think there is much you can do. I used to live at Brent Cross, and the Gypsies took over the Toys R Us parking lot for like 3 months. Squatting is legal in England. |

sadly..nothing you can do .. depends who owns the land. if its the council...they will get a court order & take bailiffs & police there to evict them..doesnt happen overnight as the gypsies have rights!! - yeah - i know what you're thinking!!
p.s. lock up your garden shed..and house & take indoors anything that could be stolen...batten down the hatches!! |

i would rather have gypsy neighbours than anyone of the peope i wqnet to school wiuth or worked with in 17 yrs of work they may be tax payers but i dont rate many of the peope i meet day to day as honest and upstanding

I was answering a question by the descendant of a Romany Gypsy earlier today. Unless these people are Romany Gypsies, please can you refer to them as Travellers since most travellers are not actual Romany Gypsies and are giving them a bad name, which is unfair. Some of the negative comments in answers to this question equally are unlikely to refer to Romany Gypsies but instead to Travellers. Can we start using the correct term for these people please to avoid confusion. Thank You. |
