I've looked at the theatres and stuff and there isn't a lot on, nothing lively enough for a 40th birthday celebration!

Why not start off at the Rawhide Comedy Club?
Their website is http://www.royalcourtliverpool.co.uk/rawhide/

It's on every Friday night and you can book your own VIP booth for the night

The VIP booth is available for all Rawhide shows at Royal Court Liverpool. The price includes entrance and meals for ten people, a bottle of fizz and a member of waiting staff for the evening.

It's £300 on a Friday night, which works out at £30.00 a head - not bad for great entertainment, this gets you a VIP booth which is a raised area seperate from the main auditorium where you can wine and dine your guests and get a great view of the show.

You could go for the cheaper option and just buy tickets. Head off to Matthew Street afterwards for a boogie in the Cavern or a touch of karioke at the beatles themed bar over the road!

Have a beautiful time! Life begins now!
