it is approx 3pm. To work it out, you count one hour backwards for every degree of longitude on your atlas/world map.

liam0_m
which part?
New York:- 6.00pm
Chicago:- 5.00pm
Denver:- 4.00pm
L.A:- 3.00pm

princessmeltdown
try the website below. I work in the travel industry and use this all the time. Select your city for Location #1 and the US city in Location #2 (the US has 6 different time zones so you need to know a major city near the place you're trying to calculate).

It depends upon what part of America you're referring to. Here in the Pacific time zone (California), it would be eight hours earlier.

For the West coast, count back eight hours; for the East coast, count back five.

Delfina
from florida is 5 hours difference. minus the 3 in california, thats 8 hours.

11pm - 8 hrs = 3pm

this is a good website for any country you want to know

It will all depend upon where in America. It´s a pretty big place.North, South, U.S.A. or elsewhere. In New York, for example, 5 hours earlier, 6.00pm. Just look up time zones on the Net!

daytime...eastern America is five hours behind and western 8 hrs so yeah depends where you are....

Whaaaat??
Go to this website, www.worldtimeserver.com

then click on 'current times' ,

scroll down till you find the country you're looking for,

it will tell the exact time it is over there

The UK is always 6 hours AHEAD of US. Therefore at 11PM in UK its 5PM in Us, thats in central standard time zone. There is a time converter available but I don't recall the link - maybe you can google it.
