The bus is much cheaper and takes you right to the airport from Queen Street. A taxi will be about £18 or more.

£15. but you can get a little bus from Queen st or Buchanan st bus station that will take you for a couple of quid and is probably as quick

The cheapest method is to take a bus from George Square. The bus stop is directly across from Queen Street station to the south, in front of the Tourist Information Centre. The bus will cost you approximately £3 for a single or you can get an open return ticket for around £5.

A black cab hired from the rank will cost around £20-22, but if you call ahead (0141 429 7070) they cost £17.80.

A private hire taxi will be cheaper than a black cab, but tend to take longer to arrive unless you have them booked well in advance from a reliable provider.

Taking the bus is much cheaper and takes you from outside Queen Street on the far side of George Square to the airport. If you do go by taxi then the Black kacks have a fixed price to the airport which is either 15 or 16 quid plus any tip you give the driver

Basement Bob
£20 if you are local. £50 if you are a tourist.

Take the airport bus from Buchannan bus station - it will cost you about 3 quid. They run every 10 - 15 minutes and are quite fast depending on the traffic. The trip will take about 25 mins.

Depending on the congestion, anything from £12 to £20.

Far cheaper to travel on the Airport Express Coach service. Operates every 10-15 minutes for most of the day (even every 30 minutes through the night) and costs less than £5.

PabloG
I'd say £10 - £15 maybe...

I haven't taken that journey but have taken shorter ones in Glasgow so I'm just estimating.

Alsanja

fleurdelyse25
