Noisy, tacky, loud, brash, silly, extrovert, fun and insane!
It's like being a child all over again, but a child suffering the extremes of a major sugar rush! Take it for what it is and allow your inner child to have fun fun fun! If you are looking for romance, good food, adult distraction and conversation and time to be alone with your loved one then seriously, go somewhere else!

If you like Doctor Who (Blackpool has a Doctor Who museum!) or 50's kitch then go for it... otherwise go to York instead.

It's okay for a short break. Definitely stay close to the Pleasure Beach though, as it's probably the only thing that I really enjoyed down there. http://www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/ :-)

I went there with friend`s a month ago , It is full of strip bar`s / lap dancing club`s / drunk`s / it`s very cold & wet and it has that same element of the spanish " lucky lucky people "( without the warm weather ) hanging around the street`s trying to get you to buy item`s off them with flashing light`s ! Then you get the " have you got a quid for a cuppa tea boss " off the local smack head`s who are hanging around begging ! YEAH it`s a lovely place .......
