England.

Scotland is very beautiful, even if I am English!!

Depends. If you are English then England, Irish, N Ireland, Scottish, Scotland and Welsh then Wales. For those who are not residents of the UK then it comes down to personal choice and experiances in the parts of the UK they have visited.

ScaredCrow.
I've only been to Wales, and it was alright.
I live in England, and the area, I do not like at the moment.
I've heard good things about Scotland, and would love to go there.
Don't know much about Ireland.

I guess it mostly depends on the area of which you go to.
But I'ma say Wales. <3

Only an idiot can answer this question with the answer..LONDON????

Anyway enough of that,im English so obviously im going to say England. But i have links with Scotland(my dad and grandparents were born there) and Ireland ( the surname and heritage comes from there) i dont have any connection regards to Wales so i cant comment, because ive never been there before.

So im pleased to have a connection with 3 countries al of which are beautiful and have their own magic and uniqueness, but il still say England.

The best country in the UK is obviously the one that has the highest mountain, deepest and longest inland water, cleanest beaches, produces all the oil and whiskey revenues, has invented everything from steam engines to TV and deep fried mars bars, can pronounce the letter "R" properly, is committed to free education and has had Mel Gibson roaring "Freedom" about it. And has made me welcome everywhere from France to Australia and New Zealand. Guess that rules out London! lol

I would say England, but then, living in it, I suppose I would wouldn't I? The rest of the United Kindom is beautiful too. I love the rest of it, but would pine for my Norfolk home. x

I been to all of them and it depends what your after..
If you want excitement and a lively place where you can drink every night and meet people from all over the world then London is the best. If you like to drink alot on weekends and meet hot Irish girls then dublin or galway is for you. If you want a more relaxed atmosphre then Scotland or Wales.

The greatest scenery is in Wales, the warmest people are English, the best food is found in Scotland and the smartest people are from Northern Ireland.

Typing as an Irish person (does my brogue show?) I'm compelled to enlighten you that Ireland (aka Eire) is not part of the U.K. Took almost a thousand years to sort that one out so let's not be getting it going again :)

Silly me - the answer without a shadow of bias is of course Ireland.

Wales of course :-)

Seriously though I have been to all 4 and each one has some fantastic and beautiful areas and places to see. I lived in Ireland for 5 years and would move back there tomorrow if I could :-)

EDIT: Why do I get the thumbs down for telling somebody that Ireland isn't in the United Kingdom. Not just wrong but stupid too. Thanks, people.
