Burton Dasset has pretty scenery, but its very windy
if you want pretty scenery and touristy things, Coventry is quite good, have coombe abbey for pretty scenery and quite a bit of touristy stuff, though stratford is better |

Gal, forget scenery and go shopping in London. Do not go with a guy though, they do not know that shopping is an art to be taken seriously! |

Considering 'la' lives at Alton Towers, you'd think she'd be able to spell it by now.
I love North Devon, my parents have a caravan at a small site called Watermouth Cove near Ilfracombe, it's excellent. |

Sunniest and warmest then head to Cornwall. Prettiest, I'd say the lake district. |

Around fifty years ago the answer would have been that it didn't matter if the sun didn't always shine, the whole country was a wonderful place. Then a lot of people from abroad decided they wanted some of it and left their countries to live here and we have gone downhill ever since. |

My adoptive county is locally known as "England's Best Kept Secret".... so I can't tell you its name, but a clue is that it's the largest and sparcest populated inland county in England. It's beautiful. |

St Albans in Herts is pretty good for history and pretty cobbled streets. Plus it has the most pubs per square Mile AND the oldest pub in the country. I like it! |
