It really depends on what you're wanting to do,
if it's shopping and clubbing try some place like london,
if it's an 'educational' trip try a historic city, ie Bath or York, (which would also have clubs and shops)
if it's just a bit of relaxation try the Lake District (it's really cheap, beautiful and a great time), it's up to you.

Freeeeezing !
London i would say...but not really somewhere on a budget..

Maybe Liverpool.....or Brighton....lovely down there..

It will depend on what sort of holiday you want....I personally like the Yorkshire Dales and the Cotswolds, but then I'm not looking for pubs and clubs every night. If you want that sort of holiday would recommend you check on one of the coastal resorts like Brighton or Bournemouth where there are plenty of bed and breakfast places you could afford....Brighton is very vibrant.

Blackpool, great for young people, so much to do there! And it's near the Lake District, Liverpool, Southport, Fleetwood, etc, if you want a change whilst you're there!

It really depends on what you want to do! Have a look at WorldReviewer here: http://www.worldreviewer.com/destination/united-kingdom/

It should give you some ideas as to what you want to do, along with approxmate costs. They have also split things out into different categories, so you can take a look at things to do if you like the paranormal, or walking, or castles etc.
