Buckingham Palace is so beautiful to look at. I like Trafalgar Square could sit there all day watching the world go by then to Piccadilly to see the statue of Eros.

Changing of the Guard.

High tea at Claridges, i have been there and it is fantastic, expensive but worth every penny, you also have the chance to meet famous people in there, while my daughter and i were there, we saw Puff Daddy and Victoria wood.

The London Eye as you get a marvellous view of the city from way up there. Plus there's the Festival Hall right near by for some music and eating places if you get tired and hungry.

Tigerlily
Tea at the Ritz

To really impress take your lady to Tea at the Ritz - I am not joking, this is one of London's up-beat venues where all the movers and shakers go.

You'll need to book in advance, usually a month ahead! Worth every penny.

Afternoon Tea at The Ritz is an institution in itself and is served in the spectacular Palm Court.

Not sure if they still do it, but the Ritz used to have an afternoon tea dance - now that is worth trying if they have it.
The Ritz also do Cocktails around 4pm most days, I think.

What to wear at the Ritz - ladies , cocktail dress or similar, gentlemen, lounge suite or blazer. Relaxed and informal but no jeans no trainers etc. Smart.

The train station. I don't like it, can't see what all the fuss is about

Mail order bride huh?

What about a trip on the London Eye, followed by a river cruise down to Greenwich and back to see London by boat. Then off to a nice hotel for cocktails (Savoy?) and then off for a meal.

Ms. Truth
Take her on the London Eye....on the champagne flight. My boyfriend took me for the first trip to London and it was great. The champagne flight doesn't have as many people. Best of all you get to see the sights, share a great moment with your girl and have a glass of bubbly as well. Enjoy, I know I did.

Jonathan
Take her up St Pauls to the top of the tower, or up the London Eye.

Peddy

MadameTassau
