offiically 18.

many get in from 16...

usually in rock type clubs as there is less (if any) trouble and kids are more into the music then drinking.

These are all london based... note the clubsa rea all over the place not in one area
The rock type clubs I used to go to (nu metal, skate punk etc) half the people in there (theatre size venue) where 16-18

Also there is a club called whiryly gig where teenagers can go if with parents.

Unfortunelty all the decent rock clubs have changed so not there or crap.

Camden palace feet night was great, now this is called koko and the new nights are awful

Think the walkabout in Shephers bush is still hosting foam parties on a friday in sat

18, but you need ID

Phat Baz
Depends what club it is they can all make their own entry criteria as long as you are over 18 if the club you are going to serves alcohol.
Saying that if it is a nightclub then as my statement above.
If it is a SocialClub or Working Mans Club, then most of them are family clubs that allow children of all ages.
In British licensing law to drink alcohol (unless in your own home)you must be 18. Or in a resteraunt with a meal.
You can enter a pub under 18 with an adult eg someone 18 or over.
You can purchase SOFT drinks at the bar at 16 /17.
If someone pays for you to enter a nightclub or buys you drink in there or a pub and they are 18 or over and you are not then they are breaking the law and they ,you and the landlord or owner can get massive fines or even go to jail.
Hope this helps.

I THINK 18

18.

You can go in clubs that have a liquor license when you are 18 but if you have been in clubs anywhere else in the world you will find a huge difference in the price of admission and drinks. In London town you will be paying at least $10 for a drink on top of the entry fee which can be as much as $50. If you want a taxi count on about $10 a mile inside London.
I hope you are well off. Have a good time.

You are here: X
most places it's 18+ but a few are 21+
take photographic proof of age eg passport, driving licence, citizen card.

as people have said there are some places with different age limits - but the VAST majority of places you have to be 18 - 18 is the legal drinking age. There are no plans to increase it to 21 either so ignore people who say that, I dont know why a lot of people on here seem to be under that impression?!

I can't really recommend places unless I know where in England/UK you will be staying but feel free to email me if you want and i'll try my best to help.

Yep. 18. Though a lot of my friends have been getting in since they were 16. It's not that hard. Though i do live in a town not a city.

Just make sure you have ID on you.

The only places i can imagine it being 21 is London. But i've never personally heard of one....

Don't leave it tooo long because there are thoughts of changing it to 21. Though i doubt that'll happen for a few years...

18 but you can normally get in younger if your a girl and flash a bit of chest or leg!!

scouserich
I presume by clubs you mean nightclubs.

Generally it is 18, however there are some with a higher minimum age, e.g. 21 or 25.

Some clubs also have alcohol free midweek nights for teenagers.

xalleyboyx
for night clubs it is just like her in america but to buy soda a juice it is 13 through 16

In most places, it's eighteen but a few have a twenty-one years and over policy. But really, many places don't check ID and let anyone in so you have clubs full of schoolkids that adults wouldn't be seen dead in!
