Pluckley, Kent, but it's only a village

York claims to be England's most haunted City - they reckon they even have a whole Legion of Roman foot soldiers marching through.
Every pub you visit will tell you that they have a ghost but I've never seen anything there which suggests the traditional idea of a haunting.
I guess it's a good tourist attraction although it's such a lovely City they don't really need some fairy story ghost sightings.

Morecambe is full of the undead!

I beleive its a village called Pluckley, in Kent. This is where'The Darling buds Of May' was filmed. Borley Rectory was supposed to have been the most haunted house, but it was burned to the ground several years ago.

I'd probably say if your looking for a good place to go then York it is very old, lots of ghost stories, lots of ghost walks and lots of ghostly places. I have been myself and the ghost walk was quite scary!

I think Derby is supposed to be very haunted - I think theres actually a ghost walk you can go on there!

It think it's between York and Chester. Spawnee is right, if you're looking for the undead go to Morecambe.

According to J B Priestley, it might be West Bromwich, as everyone is probably dead there anyway. Failing that it is Wednesbury...I am informed equally as decrepit.
