It depends where in the UK you mean, usually at this time of the year its sunny. But this year we seem to be having lots and lots of rain. However it is very changeable one minute it can be pouring down with rain and then about an hour later the sun is out its really mixed

spannerbox
usually it sunny and warm, just got up and its like a winters day, dark, and raining and the rain is set to stay the whole day.Our summer has been crap so far, and before long it will be Autumn.

kpk
Lovely weather for ducks anyway... It's boiling hot in Yorkshire at the moment but we keep having freak storms and floods. There must be somewhere that's got a drought on.

dave o
it should be hot(ish) around 28c and dry with an odd heavy summer shower, but the weather is messed up these days

Mephistopheles
Wet, wet, wet!!!!!

SnoddersB
Depends where you are, if you are in the midlands and Southern England you are in for heavy rain in the North and Scotland looks a lot better. In fact the weather up here has been better than places from Yorkshire South.

Tony
this time of year it is usually very nice and warm but this year has being appaling. The rain is just nonstop. There have being sever flooding in many parts of the uk with thousands of people losing everthing they own. It is 8.40am friday morning here in southall, west london and it is pouring down, with 4 inches of rain due this morning.!!!

Normally it's hot and sunny (often going over 30 centigrade), with little to no rain.

However, this year we have had a lot of rain, and it's only getting to around 20 centigrade. Yorkshire has had a lot of floods and it's generally been a bit nasty.

Next year will be better!

Clare
Are you asking that to be funny?!!!!

This year has got to be one of the worse summers we've had. It's rained for about the last 2 months - pretty much non stop.

However, I'd say that July is normally hot. It was boiling last year (and then we were all complaining about that too!!).

frisbee45uk
crap...

buttercup
awful! ive just heard on the news we are going to have 2 months of rain today!!

yaboo
Strange

richard_beckham2001
Today we are expecting floods in most parts of the country.

budding author
About the same as our winter, without the snow and ice.

cheers
Lousy Bleedin lousy

LadyMoonlight!!
Usually warm-hot and sunny,

At the moment though, due to global warming or whatever we've had weeks of non stop rain and everywhere is flooded.

terrano
What!!! Princess another two months of rain. Here we have had seven weeks continuous rain excepting two days ah well off to walk the dog wee ma mac ma brolly 'n wellies "happy days".

kitty
In the South yesterday it was hot and sunny all day. Today it rained so much there were floods. Tomorrow who knows, it might be hailstones... In the UK you get different weather from one day to the next. If you are coming to the UK bring T shirt and shorts and sandals, a warm sweater, and a raincoat & umbrella and wellington boots.

Happle
Last yeaar I bought an aircon unit as I couldn't get the temperature below 30 degrees C at night and had a new baby to consider. It was up at 37 outside daytime.

Today we are considering going to my mothers due to the flood risk following the rainfall here and upstream. (Live in Staines and near river, complete with flood warnings being sent by phone from the environment agency!)

Both years are exceptional. Being an island we do get everything that comes across the Atlantic as it goes towards Europe first. Normally I would say take a chance on the UK in July. This year I would say hold off until later in the year as it is bound to change sooner or later.
