In this part of Ayrshire, the compacted snow and ice that we had for the last few days started to thaw just after nightfall (4pm) yesterday. There was heavy rain from about 8pm which washed the rest away. But in the early hours of the morning, we had snow again!

fantatisic School is closed for the third day. No exams this week. whooooooooooo.god bless our British climate. Why do people hate it when we get days of school. My school is i nthe middle of the forest of bowland, basicly just in a small wilderness and we get loads of days of scholl becasue the river floods . Once the school closed coz lighting hit the teachers cars. I think god luvs us Lancashire-used to be YORKSHIRE untill they moved the boundries- BUT still YORKSHIRE really

It's called winter and that winter means rain and snow. Many others hate it,but it does happen every twelve months. But it is not as bad as many years ago when I saw snowdrifts 10 foot high and before motorways,it was impossible to drive from Leeds to Manchester because all those then narrow roads were snowed up

a bit of snow i 14 mile from sheffield

Rain and cold winds :(

I think they do it just to get our hopes up, for a laugh. We had rumours of blizzards, heavy snow... and the best we got was about 5 mins of light snowing and then plenty of cold sleet.
