My family moved to the US from Oxfordshire, so it's my history too.

Apparently one of my ancestors got caught hunting on royal land and they were given the choice of moving to Australia or the US. lol

MY LIFE! I love living in North East England, its great. The people are friendly, the scenery is simply gorgeous, and its soooo easy to get around by bus!

I lived in the Brackley area for a couple of years and found the natives to be very friendly although the beer too a bit of getting used to. I would have to say my favourite thing would be the old houses and pubs with Thatched Roofs made the biggest impression on me.

We don't have too many thatched roofs in Scotland since the Redcoats burnt most of them after the 1745 rebellion.......
