There is this benck just by the Westminster bridge. By the Dali Museum and the wheel and opposite the HoC.
I love sitting there with some beers and a friend just as the sun sets, watch people go by, talk, and watch the lights on the eye and the HoC come out.
A bonus is that there is a McDonalds and Arcade right behind you should you need to pee. :)
Bliss! |

East - Can be alright but generally too shabby!
South - The nice bits of south London are full of yuppie finance types
West - dunno
That's why my answer is North!
Specifically Tufnell Park - other than it being where I grew up, this area is statistically as nice as London gets before it starts being smug and pretentious. |

south east because I'm a born and bread south east londoner. Blackheath and Greenwich are my favourite parts |

I love Queens Wood in north London (between Highgate and Crouch End) ... it's original woodland that has never been messed about with ... I used to take the kids there when they were young, running around getting muddy, splashing in the puddles, climbing trees etc ... you completely forget that you're in a major city |
