There are lots of lovely places - depends what your interests are!
I love Leeds Castle - but I prefer it when there are no school holidays because then I get to play in the grotto & the maze!
Mt favourit places are to the West though - Glastonbury Tor & Abbey, the beaches of Cornwall. I also love the Lakes, the historic areas around the lowlands in Scotland (lots of Scots versus English going on up there!)
I think the BEST day out I had was in York though - lots of things to do, places to see, places to eat & drink, parks, the Minster - fantastic place! |
