It totally depends on the individual, you'll have people who come for tourist attractions and so would want to go to Buckingham palace, the London eye, London zoo, Madame Tussuad's, museums etc.

You'll have those who come for shopping and so would be at home in bond street, tottenham court road and oxford circus.

Then you'll have the people who want to experience London through the eyes of a Londoner (tend to stay with family) and so would go to places off the tourist trail.

I'd like to visit - as many pubs as I can and still be able stand without falling over so I can get to...

Hyde Park
Abbey Road (yes, I know it's corny, but too friggin bad)
St. Paul's Cathedral
The BBC
Royal Albert Hall (if Clapton is in town)
A chip van

And I hear you have some decent museums and some Royalty type things...well if they are near a pub and I can still walk, I'll probably check those out as well.

they'll probably want to see something that'll remind them of 'merka.

and...they'll probably get REALLY pissy if they can't spend 'merkan dollars there.

when i worked on a cruise ship and we went to Italy, there were 'merkans complaining about not being able to spend their dollars in Naples.

it was so sad to hear.

London eye, buchingham palace, houses of parliament. tate gallery. These are just some of the places. I personally think they'd quite enjoy sitting in the little courtyard in Covent Garden and listening to the string quartet. Does anyine else?

Places and tourist attractions that they can actually pronounce and spell correctly.
For some of them it will be quite a short visit.
Who are the wise guys who are saying STONEHENGE, THE NATIONAL MUSEUM, THE IFAL (EIFFEL??)TOWER?
Are you out to confuse our friends on the other side of the pond or are you just unfunny/uneducated/or Americans yourselves?
