Immigrants and the media. And the way people don't want to stand up for what is theirs in fear of being called racist or anti-immigrant.
Immigrants want to come in and take over, their neighborhoods, their language, their customs to be allowed or they will moan, instead of integrating themselves into their new country.
And the media, because everything going on in the world is literally at your fingertips or in movies. People, especially young people, see something and decide to emulate it, good or bad (for example, graffiti, gangs, clothing styles, lack of morals) When the world was a little more insulated, I think it was easier to retain your national culture and customs. |

I wish I could have gone to the UK in the old days, before I was born. To see the real deal. I'm from the US, have visited off and on the past year and a half. Britain has such a wonderful legacy, her people should be proud. I asked a similiar question. I'm going to visit Britain again soon. I wish I could help the British people preseve their legacy.
I believe they should come first in their own country. |

Half the time I don't feel like I'm in England, to be honest.
Anyone and everyone is allowed into our country regardless of intent to work, religious beliefs or, apparently, intentions. I'm all for a melting pot of culture, but I have to ask myself...if I were to move to another country and expect the same treatment as the immigrants receive here...would I get it? |

in what year good question I would say 1995 why because of the huge rise in the corparate world the word village if you like in which people from Europe came to work here because countries such a france/Italy/Spain/Germany to mention a few have cronic labour laws and Britain was doing very well this has changed now thanks to the idiots in the city and canary whalf. You also have a huge influx of peopel from Africa and Asia looking to better their lives who can blame them. |

Not all English culture has been good. Some of our stiff upper lip culture I am glad to see the back of.
Excessive immigration is the ruination of the UK. Not because we should not mix, but because we have neither the space or resources to support it. Instead of being a place for genuine asylum and immigration, we have simply given our resources to people who wanted to take advantage of that. Now people are getting sued by moslems who are asked to touch pork in the course of their catering employment.

English culture is still here I don't know why you lot are moaning just because you happen to hear people speak languages you dont understand on the daily basis.
The official language and culture is still English. White people still make up 90% of the population that is predominant.
English culture is simply evolving and for the better
