 Why do Shops in England not accept Bank Notes from Bank of Ireland, Ulster Bank, Northern Bank and First Trust
It says on the Bank Notes, I promise to pay the Bearer on Demand £5,£10 or £20 Sterling..Northern Ireland is part of the UK, so why is this..We are being treated like a foreign country.....

The bank holidays in England are usually:
New Year's Day - 1st January;
Good Friday and Easter Monday - the actual dates changes every year;
May Day Bank Holiday - the first Monday in May;
Spring Bank Holiday - the last Monday in May;
Summer Bank Holiday - last Monday in August;
CHristmas Day - 25th December (exactly 7 days before New Year's Day);
Boxing Day - 26th December (day after Christmas Day).
