The Doctor

When is the worst time to visit Glasgow, Scotland?

I'm planning a holiday and wondering when the 'off' season is to get the best deals on airfare.

the offseason has got to be the last 2 weeks of July, since the is the Glesga fair everyone leaves for hotter climates.

Only down side you not see as many Glaswegians, which Glasgow is famous for.

Alan M is wrong about traffic jams in July, last 2 weeks is great for traffic

The worst time is in winter, it rain's a lot, and gets quite cold. But there never is a BAD time to visit, the place is amazing.

I went diving in Scapa Flow and spent time in Glasgow, marvelous!!

Winter: January is when the weather is the worst

Not too sure about deals on airfare but there is not really ever a 'bad time' to visit Glasgow. You will be more than welcome - just a pity about the weather most of the time!

chocobear_20
During the winter. Summer is when all the tourists are there.

I should be doing something else
Anytime

the off season might be winter, but it gets cold there.

The worst time would be January to December. Why would you want to come here? It is cold wet and windy most of the time and crime is high and we are been taken over by immigrants.

Winter is cold but still the Tourist comes, one thing thou you will be made very welcome.

I don't know about air fares but February/early March is one of the quietest times of year on the railways, so if you'd like to take a train from London (Euston) to Glasgow and you book a week or more in advance, some very low fares will be available. www.virgintrains.co.uk

The worst time to visit Glasgow is when it is during the day or night.

september to June is not good due to the constant rain. July has the traffic jams with school children. Late august is a option. If its a good time re airfare then sept to june as no one goes there then. You can get good deals then but bring umbrella

Bulger D
any time

Anytime, it's Rough.
