i shouldn't see why not not all muslims are bad some do actually make good politicians, and if i remember rightly the Lord Mayor of Manchester is a Muslim and very highly respected one at that.

All very alarmist and childish answers so far. If the person had become P.M. it would be through hard work and a loyalty to this country so why would that exclude a Muslim? Anyway we have a long way to go - since the "reformation" we still have not had a Catholic P.M. and I suppose we will get a few snide remarks about that!

When Muslims respect the other religions in the world. Other religions teach religious tolerance, from what I have seen, Islam does not.

It's not such a daft question, after all Britain had a Jewish prime minister in the 19th century. It's unlikely to happen until there are a lot more Muslim MPs, and until there has been a big gap since the 7/7 bombings.
