The southernmost parts of Devon.
Grew up there.
The cliffs, beaches, ice cream, lovely people.

Newcastle is the best place to live because Geordies are the most friendliest people in the world.

It depends what you want to do...for lazy summer evenings sipping wine in outdoor cafes in beautiful Georgian surroundings Cheltenham in Gloucester is lovely. For culture, shopping, oodles of history and romance try the beautiful city of York. For getting away from it all and for long walks on beaches try Cornwall - Perranporth is particularly nice when it is NOT the holiday season. For woodlands, glades, mountains and wilderness you can't beat Snowdonia in Wales.

The Lake District, its beautiful

Well, I've been to London twice.
I personally LOVE LONDON.. England rocks no matter where you are.
London is awesome. But you'd enjoy it more without kids.
Lots of places to go; historical sights(all over the place).
Pubs.. Pubs.. Discos.. and just.. everything and everywhere is awesome.
I love the english!! woohoo! Oi!

People are so ..cool(well..the people i met were great!)
Anyways.. ^^ personal experience.

Guildford surry is the best place for the international businessman.Being between to major airports. It has a train direct to Gatwick and easy access to Heathrow. The area is perfect distance to London and is in beautiful countryside.

Cornwall - that's where I am from. It's beautiful! You have the best of both worlds - countryside and sea/beaches.

London is fab as it truly has something for everyone, though it is very expensive.
Guildford is also great, wonderful town ideal for commuting and travelling abroad but also very pricey indeed.
Newcastle is great as the Geordies are indeed very amiable folk if not a wee bit tricky to understand for non-natives!
Manchester is lovely just avoid football cos they get a bit cocky.
But my overall favourite place? The M25! it does not get more interesting than the London Orbital I can guarantee it. People give it a bad name: largest car park in the country but all things considered it seems to cope very well as long as avoided friday night's 4-7pm. It will always remind me of home!

Everywhere! I love England. I guess its cuz its where im from but thats just me. There is something fun about everywhere in England. London is good for shopping and seeing the sites, but its kinda like New York very busy. There are a lot of great sites in Wiltshire. Especially Stonehenge and Avebury. I used to live in Swindon. Not the best place but its a cute place. Devon is very pretty.
I dont know if you are visiting so heres a website of pretty sites:
