The tiny town of Fowey, in Cornwall.But as I live close by, I would have to say Ambleside, Lake District, where we visit our youngest Daughter regularly.

Lyme Regis or Weymouth. I would go that little bit further to visit these places even though I only live 8 miles from the sea:) I love chisel beach too, even though it is stones, it goes on for miles and miles and miles with some beautiful cliff walks.

Well, I just love Cornwall;
Polperro, Perranporth, Newquay,
South Devon;
Brixham,Torquay, Paignton,
And of course, the beautiful Isle of Wight;
Shanklin, Sandown, Ventnor, Freshwater Bay, Yarmouth, its all so beautiful.....I live in Cyprus now, but have so many fond memories of holidays in all these places.

Brighton, its a Londoner's nearest beach and I love it. We can get there in an hour on the train.

Aldeburgh and Southwold, love going just for days out and walks, dont need to stay the weekend or anything as i live close enough to get their quickly :D

I love heading down to West Witterings beach near Chichester when it's good weather. The beach is unbelievable! And if it rains they you're never to far away from Chichester or Brighton.
