Mr Sceptic
You can't have both.

Everywhere in London that is nice to live is also expensive. Some places are horrible and still expensive!

netwalker01
Try Harlesden. Then every other place will seem nice.

Kennington is not as expensive as nice south kensington, concentrating on one bed flats in georgian terraced buildings with iron railings that border the petite pretty front gardens that haven't yet been vandalised as is part and parcel of inner city life, together with cleverly convenient transport (bus) just out of the congestion zone along kennington road to oxford circus etc. I actually prefer bankside as its quiet and over looks st pauls cathedral but is expensive.

London, not too expensive, you have to be kidding. London and its outskirts are expensive but I suppose some places are more expensive than others.

You can get relatively cheaper apartments in South East London i.e. Camberwell, Lewisham.

Bridget F
Well, 'not too expensive' is a relative term but up & coming areas include Brockley, Walthamstow, FInsbury Park, Harlesden and Bow.

wish there was!

Every where in london is expensive

Hmmmmm.................Okay, depends what you mean by 'nice'!

First of all remember, the further away from zone 1 you live the cheaper it is.

I'd say 'nice' cheapish areas?.....Highbury/Angel/Ealing
