Going to see M-I-L in Spain this year then next year it's our honeymoon. Not sure where to yet but I can't wait.

For the last 2 years my boyfriend and I have headed out to Puerto del Carmen in Lanzarote and loved it so will more than likely be going there again this year. We've stayed all-inclusive and it's so cheap that we are able to sample the local cuisine without feeling guilty! It's a great place to go - fabulous long beaches with volcanic sand (it's black!), always warm and sunny and plenty to do. It's nice as well because if you want a quiet night out, there are plenty of quiet bars and restaurants to go to. If you want to party, there are loads of places for that too - best of both worlds!

Where are you going?

Retiring this year to our house in Burgundy so don't intend to go much further than the swimming pool.

One of your answerers is going to Cologne. I live near there - it's a great city, well worth a few days.

It's not a bad old world is it?
