It's a lovely place and the countryside around there is gorgeous too. Be sure to visit the Herriot Museum if you liked the All creatures great and small and the James Herriot books.
My better half and I are off to London for a few days on Monday.
Hopefully next year we'll get back to New Zealand. I spent a month there with some friends and it's the most amazing place.
It's true what they say...You can visit New Zealand...and you can go home again...But part of your heart will stay there for ever...You would fall in love with that country.
